Alyssa Healy praises Smriti Mandhana in her recent podcast and believes she still has 10 years of cricket left in her and can break many records.
Smriti Mandhana has been performing magnificently in her recent outings. She has broken a long-held world record of Mithali Raj for the most runs in women’s international cricket, which is 10,868 runs, including Test, ODI and T20s. She has received a lot of praise from experts and her fans as well. Recently, ex-Australian captain Alyssa Healy had some good words to say about Smriti Mandhana in her recent podcast.
“She’s still got another 10 years left in the game, minimum. She’s still a baby, but that’s an amazing achievement. Like Mitali Raj, who had a long career for India- very long, highly decorated as well but for Smriti to go past her at the age she is still with a lot of cricket left. Very impressive and classy player. When you take a poll around the world, you know there’s always a question about who would you like to open the batting with or who would you like certain shots to look like, it’s Smriti,” Alyssa said during her podcast with Keepin’it Cricket.
