Austrian club SV Ried has rewarded South African midfielder Yusuf Maart with a new deal, with Soccer Laduma confirming that the former Kaizer Chiefs captain has penned a new two-year contract, keeping him at the club until June 2028.

South African Midfielder Earns Improved Contract

“He has signed an improved two-year contract,” Maart’s representatives, P Management, informed this publication.

The previous contract was due to expire next year, but the Austrian outfit has moved swiftly to secure the midfielder’s long-term future — a clear indication of the value he has brought to the club since his arrival.

44 Appearances and Counting

Maart has played 44 matches for SV Ried since joining the club from Amakhosi last year, establishing himself as a key figure in the squad and repaying the faith shown in him by the Austrian outfit with consistent performances in the heart of midfield.
