Punjab Kings Named ‘Powered By’ Sponsor of Sher-E-Punjab T20 League

Punjab Kings joins the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League as its ‘Powered By’ sponsor, focusing on talent scouting and creating pathways for emerging Punjab cricketers.

In the recent sports business news, Punjab Kings has joined forces with the upcoming domestic T20 competition in Punjab, the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League. With the new arrangement, the IPL franchise will be serving as the ‘Powered By’ sponsor of the upcoming T20 tournament in Punjab.

Punjab Kings and Sher-E-Punjab T20 League to Keep Close Eye on Talents

PBKS, through this agreement, will be able to keep a close eye on the upcoming new talents coming from Punjab and get a direct hand in scouting that can help the franchise provide a platform and exposure for the development of new players so that they can move from the local level to a bigger stage. This alliance will be crucial in assisting all upcoming talents from Punjab. It will also aim to nurture their potential and get them prepared to fulfil the demands to compete at the international level.

The Premier T20 competition in Punjab is all set to start from August 30 to September 13 at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. The tournament will have six teams competing against each other in 27 fixtures of the competition. The domestic league will be having some renowned faces in action, such as Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, Prabhsimran Singh, Ramandeep Singh, and many others.
