Punjab Kings have strengthened their commitment to Punjab’s cricket ecosystem by joining the inaugural Mankind Pharma Sher-E-Punjab T20 League as the competition’s ‘powered by’ sponsor, creating a closer link between the IPL franchise and the state’s emerging talent pipeline.
The partnership, announced ahead of the league’s opening season, extends Punjab Kings’ involvement beyond the IPL and gives the franchise a direct association with a new state-level T20 property designed to provide greater opportunities for Punjab’s next generation of cricketers.
Organised by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) and exclusively managed by Servotech Sports and Entertainment, the league will feature six city-based franchises and 27 matches from August 30 to September 13 at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is committed to strengthening sports at the grassroots and creating more opportunities for young talent. The Sher-E-Punjab T20 League is an important platform in that journey, and Punjab Kings coming on board further strengthens the connection between grassroots cricket and the professional game.”
