Worcestershire County Cricket Club and Ed Wilson have mutually agreed to bring his time as Head of Women’s and Girls Cricket to a close.
During his time at New Road, Ed has made a valued contribution to the development of women’s cricket at Worcestershire and helped establish strong foundations for its continued growth.
Worcestershire CEO Ashley Giles said: “On behalf of everyone at Worcestershire, I would like to thank Ed for his commitment and contribution during his time with the Club.
“Ed has played an important part in moving our women’s cricket programme forward. He leaves New Road with our sincere thanks and very best wishes for the future.”
Ed Wilson said: “I have really valued my time at Worcestershire and am proud of the progress we have made within the women’s cricket programme.
“I would like to thank the players, coaches, staff and everyone who has supported me during my time at the Club. I wish them and Worcestershire every success for the future.”
The Club remains fully committed to the continued development of women’s cricket and will provide a further update on the leadership of the programme in due course
