The Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) has renamed a stand at the historic Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain to honour three of Trinidad and Tobago’s most distinguished cricketers and global T20 ambassadors: Dwayne ‘DJ’ Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine.
The newly christened Bravo, Pollard and Narine Stand was unveiled on August 31, coinciding with Trinidad and Tobago’s 64th Independence Day. The renaming pays tribute to the players’ contributions to the country’s rich cricketing legacy and the rise of T20 cricket internationally.

Previously known as the Trini Posse Stand, it now permanently associates the three players—key figures in Trinidad and Tobago cricket and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL)—with the Queen’s Park Oval, joining other named structures such as the Brian Lara Pavilion, Deryck Murray Players’ Gallery, and Learie Constantine Stand.

Collectively, Bravo, Pollard and Narine have set remarkable records in T20 cricket. Kieron Pollard has appeared in over 700 T20 matches, scoring more than 14,000 runs and taking over 330 wickets, making him the most prolific player by appearances in the format. Dwayne Bravo, one of the most successful all-rounders, retired with 631 T20 wickets—a record at the time—and nearly 7,000 runs. Sunil Narine recently became only the second bowler in T20 history to reach 650 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker in CPL history.
The trio has garnered numerous titles and individual awards across the world’s premier franchise competitions, including the Indian Premier League and Caribbean Premier League. Bravo and Pollard are recognised among the most successful players by championship victories, while Narine is noted for his consistency and dual impact as both a batsman and bowler.
Currently, all three are present in Trinidad and Tobago for the Trinbago Knight Riders’ 2026 CPL campaign. Pollard and Narine are playing, while Bravo serves as a coach for the franchise this season.
