CSK youngster smashes 4 consecutive boundaries in the last over to bring up fifty in UP T20 League 2026 Eliminator match [Watch]

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Prashant Veer produced an incredible finish with the bat for the Noida Kings in the 2026 UP T20 League Eliminator against Kashi Rudras on September 3. In a do-or-die contest, the Kings were reeling at 78/5 in the 13th over when Veer came out to the middle.However, the 20-year-old displayed nerves of steel and led from the front with a captain’s knock of 58* from 28 deliveries.

The 20-year-old then delivered a magical spell, finishing with figures of 2/23 in four overs.Veer’s wickets included his opposite number Karan Sharma and the talented Virat Jaiswal.

As a result, the Kings pulled off a thrilling one-run win and advanced to Qualifier 2, where they will take on the Meerut Mavericks.Prashant Veer struggled in his maiden IPL season with CSK earlier this yearPrashant Veer continues to impress as a T20 all-rounder in domestic competitions around the country. However, Veer struggled to make an impact in his limited opportunities despite his excellent overall batting numbers in IPL 2026.The southpaw finished with an average of 45 and a strike rate of 134.52 in five innings. Yet, Veer was barely used with the ball by skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, going wicketless in two overs while conceding 25 runs in IPL 2026.CSK had a 2026 IPL campaign to forget, finishing eighth in the standings with only six wins in 14 matches.
