The inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy originally scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka will now take place in India in February next year, the International Cricket Council said on Wednesday.
The ICC Board ratified India as the replacement host for the inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 on September 1, 2026, removing Sri Lanka from a tournament it had originally been awarded.
