Mandhana takes charge, India name squads for Zimbabwe series

Smriti Mandhana will lead India for the first time after being announced as the all-format captain in the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe.

Mandhana takes over the captaincy from Harmanpreet Kaur, who announced her stepping down from the role earlier on Tuesday, 6 October .

India will square off against Zimbabwe in their first-ever bilateral international meeting for three T20Is and as many ODIs starting 16 October.
