In the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 match against Indonesia, Bangladesh emerged victorious by 71 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.

In an attempt to chase a target of 130 runs, Indonesia was bowled out for 58 runs in 17.3 overs.

Opening batswoman Maria Corazon was dismissed on 12 runs in 13 balls, including a boundary. Fellow opening batswoman Rahmawati Pangestuti departed after scoring nine runs in 10 balls, including a boundary.

Ni Luh Dewi and skipper and wicketkeeper-batswoman Ni Nanda Sakarini registered nine and two runs, respectively. Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani and Desi Wulandari were dismissed on four and seven runs, respectively. Ni Made Putri Suwandewi scored three runs, whereas Sofia Velice managed to score just one run. Ni Kadek Ariani and Agung Laksmi scored two and three runs, respectively. Sang Ayu Nyoman Maypriani stayed unbeaten on one run.

Bangladesh‘s Nahida Akter claimed three wickets. Marufa Akter also bagged two wickets. Sanjida Akter Meghla and Fahima Khatun picked up one wicket each. Rabeya Khatun and Shorna Akter went wicketless in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026.

Earlier having been put to bat first, Bangladesh’s opening batswoman Juairiya Ferdous was dismissed on eight runs in seven balls, including two boundaries. Fellow opening batswoman Dilara Akter departed after scoring 27 runs in 31 balls, with the help of four boundaries.

Sobhana Mostary delivered a crucial knock of 40 runs. Facing 42 balls, she smashed two boundaries and a maximum. Skipper and wicketkeeper-batswoman Nigar Sultana returned to the pavilion on 10 runs in 11 balls, including a boundary. Ritu Moni and Fahima Khatun registered zero and five runs, respectively. Moni was dismissed on the very first balls, whereas Fahima faced five balls. Rabeya and Nahida Akter scored one and zero runs, respectively. Rabeya’s knock lasted for four balls, whereas Akter was dismissed on the very first ball.

Shorna Akter and Marufa Akter stayed unbeaten. Facing 18 balls, Shorna smashed 31 runs, with the help of three boundaries and a maximum, whereas Marufa scored one run in one ball.

Indonesia’s Ni Kadek Ariani returned with the figures of three wickets for 28 runs in four overs. Ni Luh Dewi also claimed two wickets by conceding 21 runs in three overs. Ni Made Putri Suwandewi and Sofia Velic chipped in with one wicket each. Agung Laksmi and Sang Ayu Nyoman Maypriani went wicketless in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 match against Bangladesh.
