Ludhiana Lions defeated Bathinda Royals by three wickets in a closely contested match of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League 2026 Powered by Punjab Kings at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
Arjun Rajput was pivotal to Ludhiana’s victory, excelling with both ball and bat. He took four wickets for 27 runs in four overs before scoring a match-winning 82 from 45 balls, helping his team chase down a target of 166 with three wickets to spare.

Batting first, Bathinda Royals began steadily with their openers contributing an opening partnership of 46 runs. Harnoor Singh scored a quick 38 off 19 balls while Rishabh Gupta added 9 runs from 6 deliveries before being dismissed.

Rajput then took charge, partnering with Krish Bhagat to rebuild the innings. The pair combined for a vital 50-run partnership off 34 balls, keeping Ludhiana in contention through a mixture of intelligent running and aggressive stroke play.
