One obsession that Virat Kohli has off the field is his collection of tattoos. Anyone who has observed Kohli closely will notice the ink on his body. Of course, they have never hampered his fitness or form. The 37-year-old has now added one more to his tally, and it is going viral on social media.
A Work in Progress
Interestingly, the tattoo is still unfinished after five sessions. The latest design seems to depict the ripple effect on a water surface after a drop falls into it. Kohli has not publicly revealed the inspiration, so not much is known yet.
High Level of Dedication
He has dedicated himself to the sessions to ensure that the end product will be perfect. After all, he is a perfectionist, be it on the field or off it. Such is the aura of ‘King’.

When this tattoo is completed, it will be the 12th one. As of now, there are 11 on his body. Now that’s quite a collection. Years of dedication have resulted in these tattoos being perfectly inked on his skin.

When Will Indian Fans See Virat Kohli Play Again?
Kohli will next be seen in action vs West Indies in the ODI series that begins on September 27. He needs just 59 to become the fastest to touch the 15,000-run mark in the 50-over format. He shall be the only 2nd player to do it after Sachin Tendulkar. On August 18, King’ completed 18 years in international cricket. Having retired from Tests and T20Is, Kohli plays only ODIs now. He hopes to make it to the 2027 World Cup and end on a high. He will be 38 in a little over a couple of months.
Race Against Time
Kohli is chasing quite a number of records held by Tendulkar in ODIs and international cricket but faces a race against time. It will be interesting to see if he breaks any or some or all by the time he calls time on his career.
