The ICC has removed the demerit point given to Gaddafi Stadium after overturning the pitch’s Unsatisfactory rating for the Pakistan-Australia ODI on June 4. It also lifted one point from Canada’s Maple Leaf Cricket Ground but upheld three points from a later Unfit rating.
The ICC Appeals Panel announced on August 20, 2026 that it had rescinded the demerit point imposed on Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore following Pakistan’s home ODI against Australia on June 4, 2026. With the point withdrawn, the Lahore venue now carries a clean record under the ICC Pitch and Outfield Monitoring Process.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced its decisions on three pitch rating appeals submitted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket Canada (CC) regarding demerit points imposed for matches held in June.
