The International Cricket Council on Wednesday (September 2, 2026) moved the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy to India from Sri Lanka, and the six-team event will be played in Mumbai and Vadodara from February 14 to 28.
India will host the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy next year, ICC has announced. The event was supposed to be held in Sri Lanka originally, but will now be played at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai and the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Vadodara, from February 14 to 28.

CHENNAI: Days after Sri Lanka was removed as hosts of the event, the International Cricket Council announced that the Women’s T20 Champions Trophy will be held in Mumbai and Vadodara from February 14-28, 2027.
