Nigeria secure back-to-back U-19 Women’s Cricket World Cup tickets
Nigeria’s Junior Female Yellow Greens have qualified for the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup for a second consecutive time after edging Zimbabwe by four runs in Tanzania on Saturday.

The result secured Nigeria’s place alongside South Africa as Africa’s representatives at the 2027 ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Nepal and Bangladesh.
The Junior Female Yellow Greens had secured their maiden appearance at the tournament in 2025 after also defeating Zimbabwe in the African qualifier.
They went on to finish sixth at the 2025 World Cup in Malaysia.
