The third edition of the NPL is scheduled to be held from October 26 to November 21. Eight teams are participating in the competition. Janakpur Bolts won the title in the first edition, while Lumbini Lions won the title in the second edition.

With Janakpur’s signing of Iftikhar, its middle order has become more experienced. As he can provide aggression in batting and an option in bowling, he will be an important foreign player for Janakpur.
