Crewe Vagrants CC women are celebrating after clinching the hardball league title at their first attempt.
The team competed in the league for the first time after winning the Cheshire Softball cricket league title in 2025.
They were keen to take on a new challenge for 2026 by entering the CWCL hardball league for the first time.
Competing with clubs across the county, they won seven of their 10 matches.
And at the weekend, they went on to secure the Division 4 West Championship title at their first attempt.
A Crewe Vagrants CC spokesperson said: “It’s a great achievement for the squad and the club.
“The softball squad has also seen success and will play next weekend in the county cup final at Warrington sports club.
“It’s a fitting end to another great year for the women’s section at the club.”
