Pakistan register their lowest team total in Women’s T20Is
Pakistan cricket faced yet another embarrassment and this time in women’s cricket, that too against arch-rivals India, as the Pakistan women were bowled out for just 55 runs in their Women’s Asia Cup 2026 group stage clash in Dubai on Saturday.
Batting first, Pakistan were off to a steady start as their openers put up 27 runs on the board in the first five overs. However, since then, they experienced a batting collapse as they soon lost six wickets for 35 runs and were then bowled out for 55.
Shree Charani and Prema Rawat were India’s star performers as they picked up three wickets each in their quota of four overs and gave away only seven runs and nine runs respectively.
This was Pakistan’s lowest-ever T20I total as they beat their previous lowest team total of 56 runs, which they registered against New Zealand in 2024 in Dubai.

‘One more IND vs PAK mismatch’: World reacts as India bowl out Pakistan for 55 runs
From former Indian cricketer S Badrinath to experts and fans across the world, everyone mocked Pakistan’s performance and labelled the India vs Pakistan rivalry as a joke.
Badrinath wrote on X, “India vs Pakistan matches have become so one-sided, even mobile cricket games should remove the fixture.”
Indian broadcaster Jatin Sapru said, “Pak batters absolutely clueless against Indian spinners. Trying to attack the two best finger spinners in the world with non-existent plans and technique… 35/6 as I tweet this. Might be all-out by the time my internet allows it to publish. One more #IndvPak mismatch.”

Pakistan cricket is falling apart
Pakistan cricket is completely falling apart, be it men’s or women’s category and it seems there is no one to check the downfall.
Alarm bells are not clearly ringing at the PCB headquarters, and if things continue this way, the once giants of world cricket would merely become a minnow in the coming years.
After the men’s team fell flat in the ongoing Test series in England, the women’s team now embarrassed themselves in front of the world against their fiercest rivals, India.
It remains to be seen what constructive steps the PCB take in the coming days to check the downfall of their cricket teams. As of now, there seems to be no clear roadmap to revive the falling standards.
