Bowling performances from Akash Pandey, who took 2 wickets for 27 runs in four overs, alongside Adhiraj Singh Mangat and Sahil Khan, who claimed two wickets each, were instrumental in restricting the Falcons.
The Soormas’ chase began with swift runs but was marked by early wickets. At 39/3, following Rahul Kumar’s dismissal, Naman Dhir and Abhay Choudhary assumed command of the innings. Dhir remained unbeaten on 88 from 48 balls, striking eight fours and four sixes, while Choudhary was not out on 58 from 35 deliveries, with seven fours and a six. Together, they forged an unbroken 147-run partnership, guiding Amritsar to 186 for 3 in 17.3 overs and securing victory with 15 balls to spare.
The Soormas will aim to maintain their momentum as they prepare to face Bathinda Royals on Friday.
