Kent Women got revenge on Gloucestershire after their Vitality Blast Semi Final, winning by 8 wickets at Cheltenham to secure a Semi Final place in the Metro Bank League Two One Day Cup.
Five wickets from Izzy James and an unbeaten 57 from Kelly Castle secured a comprehensive win against Gloucestershire, who were victorious against Kent in their previous two meetings this season in the T20 Blast.
5 for 18 from Izzy James on a spinning pitch spearheaded the victory as the hosts were bundled out for 106 in 24 overs. Emily Geach’s 28 was the highest score, with only three other batters making double figures.

Kent Women Head Coach James Hockley has named a squad of 12 to face Leicestershire Foxes at the St Lawrence Ground.
Unlike Kent Men, Kent Women aren’t a professional side, so player availability reaches further than selection based on fitness, form and application. External factors such as education, work and other commitments play a part in forming Kent Women’s matchday squads.
Pathway all-rounder Kaya Clark, who has already made nine first-team appearances for Kent Women back in 2024, is named in a squad that features four homegrown players.
Loanee Hannah Hardwick has been released by Hampshire to play in this match.
