Millions of television viewers got their first glimpse of C&C Insurance Brokers’ latest sporting partnership during the recent Vitality Blast Finals Day, at Edgbaston.
As David Willey’s spectacular catch-pass kept Northamptonshire on course for an unforgettable victory, C&C’s branding was perfectly positioned for the TV cameras, delivering a memorable first outing for their latest sporting partnership. (And if you didn’t see the Vitality Blast Catch of the Day, you can see it here.)
That impressive exposure marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for C&C, having signed a three-year agreement to become an Official Partner of Warwickshire County Cricket Club, with the partnership running through until the end of the 2029 season.
The partnership places C&C at the heart
The partnership places C&C at the heart of one of the world’s most iconic cricket venues. Branding will feature on Tier 3 of the RES Wyatt Stand, alongside coverage on Edgbaston’s mid-tier LED boards during domestic fixtures, international matches and showcase events including Vitality Blast Finals Day.
The agreement also includes a wide range of digital, branding and matchday activation opportunities, allowing C&C to engage with supporters, businesses and the wider Midlands community throughout the season.
The move further strengthens C&C’s long-standing relationship with cricket as they already enjoy successful partnerships with Lancashire Cricket at Emirates Old Trafford and Yorkshire County Cricket Club at Headingley, while previously having had a presence at Surrey’s Kia Oval. Together, the partnerships demonstrate C&C’s growing investment in the game and its commitment to supporting cricket across the country.
Branding at Edgbaston will also showcase C&C Employee
Branding at Edgbaston will also showcase C&C Employee Benefits, as well as providing a platform for C&C’s Birmingham and Nottingham offices to further develop relationships across the Midlands.
Over the next three years Edgbaston will stage some of the biggest fixtures in world cricket, including England’s Ashes Test against Australia next year and a Test Match against India in 2029, ensuring C&C enjoys exposure on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
Malcolm Cooke, Managing Director of C&C Insurance Brokers, said:
“Seeing our branding featured so prominently during Finals Day was a fantastic way to launch what we believe will be a hugely successful partnership. Edgbaston is one of the world’s great cricket venues and offers an incredible platform to showcase both C&C Insurance Brokers and C&C Employee Benefits.
“Cricket has always been an important part of our business, and this partnership continues our commitment to supporting the game while creating new opportunities to engage with clients and businesses across the Midlands. With major international fixtures on the horizon, including next year’s Ashes Test, we’re incredibly excited about what the next three years will bring.”
Abraham Khan, Finance Director at Warwickshire, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome C&C Insurance Brokers as an Official Partner of Warwickshire County Cricket Club. C&C has developed a strong reputation for supporting cricket across the country, making them a natural fit for Edgbaston. We’re looking forward to working together to create memorable experiences for supporters, partners and the wider business community, whilst promoting the C&C brand during some of the biggest occasions in the cricketing calendar.”
