India vs Thailand Women Live Score, Women’s Asia Cup 2026: Harmanpreet Kaur’s India will begin their Women’s T20 Asia Cup campaign against Thailand today, looking to overcome a difficult run in the shortest format and rebuild confidence ahead of two major Asian competitions. India remain the most successful side in the T20 Asia Cup, having won three of the five editions since 2016-17, but their recent record has been concerning. They have lost nine of their 16 T20Is this year, with their latest defeat against Australia resulting in a group-stage exit from the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Harmanpreet’s own form and future in T20 cricket remain under scrutiny despite her crucial contribution against Australia. The absence of Jemimah Rodrigues has further complicated India’s middle-order plans, with Pratika Rawal added to the squad. Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma provide a formidable opening pair, but India need greater consistency from the batters that follow.
Fielding will also be a focus after costly lapses in their previous campaign. India’s bowling attack, led by Deepti Sharma, Shree Charani, Radha Yadav and Prema Rawat, offers plenty of experience and variety, while Renuka Singh Thakur leads the pace unit.
Thailand will enter the contest with confidence after beating Hong Kong, with Naruemol Chaiwai and Onnicha Kamchomphu playing key roles in the victory.
