Naman Dhir replaces Abhishek as opener, slams 173 in Sher-e-Punjab T20 League
Dhir opened the innings while the regular opener and captain, Abhishek Sharma, took a back seat. The star Indian batter came into bat at number five and didn’t lead the team, Dhir did.

Naman Dhir slammed the highest score across State T20 Leagues — 173 off 64 balls — during a Sher-e-Punjab match between Amritsar Soormas and Mohali Kings at the PCA I.S. Bindra Stadium on Tuesday.
The right-handed batter one off the first four balls before he opened his arms. Dhir smacked 12 sixes and 16 fours during his stay while playing only six dot balls throughout the innings.

None of the bowlers were spared. Against Lovedeep Chatha, Dhir hit 53 runs off the 19 deliveries he faced. He only fell in the last over after he had made sure Amritsar finishes the innings at 279 for seven.
His 173 is now the highest individual score in the Sher-e-Punjab tournament.
Meanwhile, Abhishek it a couple of sixes but only managed 13 runs off five balls.
The duo contributed with the ball as well. While Abhishek opened the bowling with his left-arm spin and finished with 1/38 in three overs, Dhir picked up two wickets in his two overs.
